I can count on classes close to home

I can count on hands-on training that teaches real-world skills.

Tanya went from college student to entrepreneur in four short months. Tanya used the knowledge she is gaining in her practical nursing classes to design and receive a provisional patent for a portable nursing kit that can be used by nursing students to practice skills at home and other locations away from simulators in the classroom. "This was so exciting for me," said Tanya. "I found out that the instructors want the portable simulators as much as the students do. As far as I can tell in my research, this product is a first of its kind. Every college I have approached has said, 'we need this.' And for me, it all started at Tri-County."
